A legacy built over five decades

Prof. Subhash Rane, the founder-promoter, along with his companions — M/s. Balasaheb Patankar, Prof. Jaykumar Desai, Abdul Karigar, Arun Narke, Mahadeorao Mahadik, Chandrakant Jadhav, R. P. Patil, Vikas Satpute, Adv. Vijaysinh Nimbalkar and Anandrao Patil (Kaulavkar) — registered the Bank on 16-06-1975. Their vision: to establish a financial institute on the principle of co-operation by the youth, for the development of youth, to make them stand independently on their own feet.

Youth Bank is the first bank from Western Maharashtra among co-operative banks to have adopted technically advanced software and computerised operations through an online system — at a time when even nationalised and private sector banks in the region had not yet embraced computerisation.

The Bank's ATM card operates at any ATM centre across India, supports Cheque Book and Deposit Requests through ATMs, and is compatible with Master, Visa, and RuPay cards. Banking Frontiers Magazine has recognised the Bank five times for outstanding performance in Information Technology from the co-operative banking sector.

The Bank actively supports NGOs, volunteers, artists, sportspersons, and students through cultural, sports, and environmental initiatives. Employees are offered Bonus, Mediclaim, Gratuity, LTC, and loan facilities, and are motivated for advanced education through additional salary increments.

Today the Bank operates its Head Office and 12 branches — at Shahupuri, Laxmipuri, Mangalwar Peth, Jaysingpur, Kasba Bawada, Market Yard, Shiroli Pulachi, Gokul Shirgaon (MIDC), Nagala Park, Jaragnagar, Kalamba, and Gadmudshingi — plus 2 extension counters at Rajaram Sugar Factory and Gokul Dairy, all in the Bank's own premises.
